Project title: Multi Lab for Pedagogical Innovation in Artistic Creation and Cultural Mediation of the Arts

Summary: The Mille et un plateaux project aims to create favorable conditions for invention in Master of Arts and Film/Media Studies courses. Intended to trigger a process of radical change in teaching methods, it is structured around three closely linked lines of approach :
– A Learning Lab to encourage innovative and dynamic teaching approaches in interdisciplinary and inter-arts projects ;
– An Art/Med Lab to reinforce and improve creativity, production and distribution of art and cultural events ;
– And a Living Lab seeking to intensify the link between the project and the surronding area, improve outreach and public relations.

Mille et un plateaux comes in the form of a Multi Lab in which transformative measures, based on the use collaborative tools and methods and on the implementation of unprecedented forms of participatory governance. Lead by a mixed team of teaching researchers, research engineers, and associated professionals, Mille et un plateaux is facing the challenge of deep long-lasting change in arts training and cultural mediation.
