Summary: Understanding the diversity and functioning of the microbial world, either at the molecular, cellular, ecosystem levels or through its close association with other organisms (plants, microbiota, etc.), is a source of scientific knowledge that is essential for the development of biotechnological solutions for energy production, for environment and for health. IM2B brings together interdisciplinary research, education and a unique technological facilities to foster new collaborations at local, national and international levels in tight interactions with industrial partners and local authorities.
